Parkway West Longhorn Lacrosse Updates

We are about 50/50 on whether or not we’ll play the Varsity game tonight.  Update should be coming soon.

Central has cancelled the JV game tonight.  We are working on rescheduling for Saturday morning/noon at Parkway South Middle.  Varsity will either be playing tonight at 5:00 PM at West Middle if the field is in decent shape or we will have to postpone it until early on Saturday (well before the seniors would need to be anywhere for graduation).  Expect to play tonight, though.

I talked to the Central coach.  We won’t be able to play at Parkway Central today.  He is looking into playing at Parkway South Middle.  We are also looking into whether the West Middle field is playable today, so that is a possibility as well.  We’re going to try to decide in the next hour or so.

No new updates on changes to the location of the games today.  We are still planning on JV at 4:30 and Varsity to follow at 6:00 at Central Middle School.  JV should leave straight from school because they may try to get that game started a little early.  Keep checking back for updates throughout the day.

Varsity game is still on at 5:45, and all players are encouraged to come out for Senior Day.

As long as we don’t receive any more rain, the varsity senior night game will be played tonight as scheduled.  All varsity and swing players should be dressed by 4:45.

Due to “unsafe field conditions” we will move the Varsity game tonight to CBC at 5:45.  All Varsity and swing players should arrive at the CBC field by 4:30.

We are making a decision on the West Middle fields within the hour.  If they are fine, we will play at West, if not, we will play at CBC.  JV and Freshman practice will be on the upper field at West.

If the upper field is in bad shape, then we will try to find a gym or seperate field to go to.

For JV and Varsity, Friday’s practice is cancelled, but we will plan on practicing at noon on Sunday regardless of weather and field conditions.

Coach Shearman will let the Freshmen players know their plan for today.  Freshman game is still on for tomorrow as of now.  If it gets cancelled, I will post an update by 9 AM tomorrow.
